Datawiz takes a life cycle-based approach — an internally developed and used enterprise security integration delivery model — that maps relevant technologies with the enterprise architecture to address potential risks. At the DOL Office of the Inspector General, Datawiz first worked with stakeholders to understand their long-term goals, organizational values, objectives and operational environment to create strategies that enabled them to meet their security requirements and improve their responsiveness during sudden adverse attacks.
Currently, Datawiz is investing in Zero Trust architectures, as security is no longer bound by the office walls, because of the pandemic-induced hybrid/remote work environment, which has bought ever-changing compliance regulations and the need for federal staff to work from any location. OIG has faced several challenges through these past few years, which Datawiz has navigated for them by being a trusted advisor to the OIG for not just their cybersecurity strategy, but also the automation of applications, building cloud infrastructure, and modernizing the technologies for database administration and data warehouses.
